CoGri Asia has completed joint repairs at a warehousing and logistics services provider’s facility.
One of the entry points within the facility had a gap between the concrete beams and no sealant in place which was causing the edge of the concrete beams to start deteriorating under traffic from the hard MHE wheels. The solution was to carry out a Type 3 Joint Repair as it was necessary to re-construct the arrisses as well as re-sealing the joint. Type 3 Repair involves the re-construction of arrisses with heavy duty epoxy repair mortar and introducing a reduced width fully sealed expansion joint.
Given that the client’s warehouse was fully operational during the week, CoGri started the repair works on a public holiday. To ensure that the client could resume operation the following day, the CoGri team worked diligently until 24 linear meter of joint repair was completed.
Despite the limited window of opportunity to complete the works, CoGri was able to deliver high quality joint repairs. The client was impressed with the results and had called CoGri back to provide a quotation to carry out repairs in the other parts of their warehouse and had also referred CoGri to one of their clients for repair works.
