Technical Articles : TR34 Defined Movement Table (4.3)

In Defined Movement (SuperFlat) floor areas, Material Handling Equipments travels in a fixed (Defined) path. Normally Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) warehouse with high level storage racking, but also sometime Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). The higher the lift height or racking, the more important the floor flatness becomes.

  1. For all classifications, all points surveyed should be within 15mm from datum
  2. 95% Limit - The floor is non-compliant if more than 5% of the readings or survey length exceeds the 95% limit.
  3. 100% Limit - The Floor is non-Compliant if any of the measurements exceed the 100% limit.
